  1. APARTE, video and sound installation, 2007

2 digital videos, black&white, mono sound, loop. On 2 black televisions, on the floor. Edition 1 + 1EA.

APARTE is a minimalist proposition of the television as a body - with two volumes generating a rhythm - on which a temporality is revealed. The installation works like a metronome. Two televisions are on the floor in the middle of the room. They face each other and interact. Every sound pierces its own television set. Their point of impact appears on the screen. The installation gives to the spectators the rhythm of the space  where they move, a constant and regular rhythm, a one-beat bar.
