OBSESSION is a photographic series that breaks down a breathing movement and focuses eyes on a woman's breast, following her nipple closely. The starting point of this work is in the political and social projections on this part of the woman's body, which is sexualized, eroticized or reduced to its nourishing function, and which, at the same time, must be hidden with clothes in the real world, by blurring techniques in the virtual world of the images and internet. OBSESSION questions this gendered symbolic charge by playing with the blurring and the focus that the spectator has to do continuously, if he wants to perceive the image and the movement thus decomposed, or to read the small sewn numbers that locate the nipple in the image frame.
